SIGNING UP & SCHEDULING

Become a Firebrand!

We have an easy to use and extremely secure online platform that puts you in complete control. It takes just a few minutes to set up. You will be asked to create a profile, login and password. You will also be asked for a valid credit card to keep on file, which is used for purchases, as well as fees. Once you have created an account, you can view the class schedule or purchase classes/packages/monthly memberships.

Schedule Classes Online

Once you have created your online profile, you must purchase a punch card or membership to book classes. Firebrand accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. It is always best to reserve online to ensure you don’t end up on the waitlist. Our classes fill up fast! Click here to schedule a class or purchase sessions.

WAITLIST

Waitlist Full Classes

We highly recommend adding yourself to the waitlist for full classes. Not only will you have better luck getting into a class, it also helps us know where we need to add classes. As spots open up in class, we give them away to people on the waitlist in the order that they put themselves on it. Get on the wait list by clicking “SIGN UP NOW” on the class you want to attend, even if the session is full.

Waitlist Basics

The wait list locks 8 hours before class start time, allowing anyone to grab an opening without having to be on the wait list. We do this so that you do not get an email at 3:00 AM confirming you for a spot in the 6:00 AM class that day! Since cancellations occur often in the 8-hour period leading up to class after the wait list goes away, it’s best to check online schedule the night before or the day of the class for an opening. We display our class availability on our online schedule so you can see where there’s that last second opening!

Note: Please be sure that you select “yes” when asked if you would like to receive email reminders and newsletters under the “personal” section of your online profile. This enables us to send you auto-emails when you are added off the wait list. If you do not wish to receive our studio newsletter, you may unsubscribe when it arrives and this will not affect your wait list notifications.

Waitlist Notifications

If a spot becomes available, you should receive an automated courtesy email letting you know you have been added to the class. You are confirmed! While we do send out courtesy emails, you are ultimately responsible for managing your wait list. Please always check your profile online to see if you’ve gotten added, in case you didn't receive the email. Once you are added to the class from a wait list, you are considered confirmed and held to the cancellation policy. It is important that you take yourself off the wait list right away if you know you don't want to take the class anymore, otherwise you will be automatically added and considered confirmed. If you choose to wait list for more than one session, you MUST keep track of your schedule. Once added to a class, you need to cancel out other sessions you have wait listed.

Removing Yourself from a Waitlist

You can cancel sessions you are wait-listed for by clicking “My Info,” followed by “My Schedule.”  Click “Wait List” located in the top right corner and cancel out of all appropriate sessions. Do this as soon as you know you can no longer attend the session — the next person on the wait list will thank you for it!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Our Cancellation Policy

All reserved classesmay be cancelled for any reason without penalty up to 8 hours before the scheduled class time. Reserved classes must be cancelled online under “SCHEDULE”. We strictly enforce this policy. Please respect it. We want to be sure all of our clients have an equal opportunity to enjoy our classes.

Switching sessions during a cancellation period is also considered a “late cancel”. If you’ve held a spot in class, you are making it unavailable to someone else. And if you switch, that once unavailable spot becomes available only at the last minute. Help out your peers by making your schedule changes as soon as you can.

All cancellations must be made online. Phone calls and emails are not an acceptable form of cancellation. Think of this as a motivation policy. Each time you sign up for class you are making a commitment to your fitness and your body will THANK YOU!

Cancellation & No-Show Penalties/Fees

Our fees are here to motivate attendance!

Clients on Punch Cards: Your account will be re-credited for an unattended session only if you cancel before the required deadline. The class is not refunded. If you late cancel after the required deadline, you will lose that class and it will be deducted from your punch card. If you do not attend a scheduled class, you will lose that class and it will be deducted from your punch card.

Clients with Unlimited Memberships (including New Members): If you late cancel after the required deadline, you will be charged a Late Cancel fee of $15. If you do not attend a scheduled class, you will be charged a No Show fee of $25.

Clients with Limited Memberships: Your account will be re-credited for an unattended session only if you cancel before the required deadline. The class is not refunded. If you late cancel after the required deadline, you will lose that class and it will be deducted from your monthly class allotment. If you do not attend a scheduled class, you will lose that class and it will be deducted from your monthly class allotment and you will also be charged a No Show fee of $10.

Waiving Cancellation Fees

We do not waive cancellation fees. Sorry, no exceptions. That’s why they are called motivational charges. If you cancel your reservation after the required deadline, it’s really hard for us to fill your spot in the class. Besides, motivating you to attend is good for you, too. If you schedule your workouts on your calendar ahead of time that will ensure you follow through on all of those good intentions you had when you scheduled your sessions at the beginning of the month.

AUTO-RENEW

Auto-Renew Basics

Our monthly memberships (month-to-month and 6-month) withdraw funds directly from your credit card account on file and also automatically renew the contract with the same terms upon expiration. Meaning, that your account will debit automatically monthly, and when the package contract ends, it will automatically renew and you will begin another contract for the same length of time with the same terms.

Terminating Auto-Renew

If you choose to end your membership when the initial term expires, you must give us notice by email at least 30 days prior to your contract ending so that your membership doesn't automatically renew. Be sure that you are very clear what the rules are when purchasing your packages. Questions? Email us!

SHARING, REFUNDS, EXPIRATION & GIFT CARDS

Sharing Sessions

Punch cards and memberships are not transferable. Everyone who comes to classes needs a separate online profile and package due to safety and liability reasons.

All Sales Final

All sales of memberships, punch cards, gift certificates, events and programs are final and non-transferable. Some of our memberships require signing a contract for auto-payments. Please make sure that you look these over carefully and fully understand the rules before signing them.

Punch Cards Good for 1 Year

All punch cards and gift certificates are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Punch cards are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Gift Cards Available in Any Amount

You can purchase classes, as well as specific dollar amounts as gifts online. Gift cards are non-transferable and non-refundable. Have any questions? Please ask at the front desk or email info@firebrandsports.com.

Private Classes

Private and semi-private sessions can be scheduled anytime when group classes are not in session. Get more information on rates and booking.

STUDIO AMENITIES

Shower & Changing Facilities

There is ample changing space in our changing rooms, as well as private restrooms. We have one shower, stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner – but you will need to provide your own towels and other essentials.

Lockers: No Lock Necessary

We provide daily use lockers in the main hallway for this purpose. You won’t need a lock – we use the Real® coded lock system. If you need help using the lock, simply ask the front desk for a quick tutorial.

No Towel Service

We do not offer towels. Please remember to bring one – or more if you are planning to shower. We offer small towels for sale in our retail lobby.

Water

We sell privately labeled bottled performance water at Firebrand Sports. Our Hydrate2o water is purified and boosted with electrolytes to enhance hydration, deliver nutrients and restore electrolytes depleted during your workout. We also offer a purified water system in the lobby for you to fill up your reusable bottle.

Workout Fuel

We sell healthy grab and go snacks at the Front Desk, as well as offer fresh pressed Portland Juice Company juices for sale at their kiosk in our lobby.

CLASS BASICS

Arrive Early for First Visit

Arrive 15 minutes early to your first class and let the front desk staff know that it is your first visit. Arriving early ensures your instructor is able to ensure you have a safe and effective class! All classes are 50 minutes in duration (unless otherwise noted) and start on time.

Recipe for Results

We recommend you take at least 4-5 classes per week. Although you may see results even if take classes a few times a week, you’ll get results and feel maximum effect if you can break a sweat as much as possible! The key is to listen to your body and find what works best for you.

Our Pyrolates and FireBarre classes compliment each other perfectly and offer true full body focus. The combination is a fantastic way to get the best overall workout possible. The days of suffering through humdrum gym workouts are OVER! Time to change the way you workout, change your body and change your life!

Pregnant Clients

If you are pregnant, please consult with your doctor before taking any classes at Firebrand Sports and throughout your entire pregnancy. If you have approval from your doctor, please arrive early to class, check in with your instructor and be prepared to modify your workout.

Age Requirement

Our classes are designed for all ages and fitness levels. If you are under 18, you will need a parent-signed waiver to attend a class. No children under age 13 are permitted.

SWEATIQUETTE

No Cell Phones

No cell phones, tablets or other PDAs in class. Leave them in a locker or if you are expecting an urgent call at the front desk, where we can get you in an emergency. Unplug and treat yourself to 50 minutes of peace!

Gripped Socks Required

For our Pyrolates and FireBarre classes, we require socks with grips or soft-soled shoes intended for indoor use only. No bare feet! Gross. No regular socks! Slippery. We offer an outright smokin’ selection of socks with grips for purchase at the studio. Snatch up the latest style and stock up on colors. First class? All gripped socks are 10% off on your first visit!

No Stuff in Class

For safety reasons and out of respect for your neighbors in class, we do not permit anything other than you, your water bottle and a towel into the studios. We request that you utilize the lockers.

Arrive on Time

It is very important to arrive on time as a respect to other clients. Many times, clients will drop in to see if someone doesn’t show allowing them a space in the class. If you do not arrive within 5 minutes of the scheduled class time, your space may be given to someone who is waiting. If there is a specific circumstance that requires you to leave class early, please inform your instructor at the start of class and exit the class quietly, so as not to disturb the class.

Sign in at Front Desk

Of course we know you by name and you’re like family, but please make sure to sign in at the Front Desk to ensure that our busy staff properly check you into class as present and don’t slap you with a cancellation fee!

No Glass Bottles or Jars in Class

When our instructors are busy watching out for your safety in class, they don’t always see your glass bottles and jars on the floor. And let’s face it, accidents happen! Shattered glass is a big no-no! For safety reasons, no glass bottles or jars please!

No Unattended Pets

We l-o-v-e to meet your fur-babies … when they’re with you! But if you’re taking a class, please do not leave your pet unattended inside Firebrand. Our staff is busy ensuring all members have a knockout experience and can’t keep your pet safe or give it attention we all know it needs and deserves.

CHILDCARE

No Unattended Children

Your adorable little ones brighten our day, but due to safety and insurance concerns we cannot allow children to remain unattended while class is in session.

Discounted Childcare at WeVillage

We are proud to be partnered with WeVillage, the Pearl District’s only licensed drop-in-and-go childcare facility, as our exclusive day-care partner! Located only 3 blocks from the studio at 1024 Glisan Street, WeVillage is a local, community-oriented service that intertwines fun with education, in a happy and safe environment for your little one.

Through our partnership, clients of Firebrand Sports receive 1.5 hours of childcare for $10 for ages 0-2 years and $8 for ages 3-12 years, while attending a single Firebrand Sports class so that you can get a little “me time,” a great workout and have time to make the trip between locations. Should you need or want to extend your child’s WeVillage visit beyond the 1.5 hours, you will be charged standard WeVillage rates. Why not take advantage of this service and extend your “me time” and do a little shopping or have lunch? We won’t tell!

WeVillage cares for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years of age. Upon checking in at WeVillage with your child, you will receive a validation card, which in turn is presented at check-in at Firebrand. Our Front Desk Ambassador will fill out your name, class time attended and officially sign off on the validation card before you leave. Simply take the validated card back to WeVillage and redeem your 1.5 hours of childcare for only $10. Easy!

All reservations, payments, cancellations and refunds related to childcare services are handed directly by the WeVillage team. It is highly recommended to make a reservation for your child at WeVillage.
