Kate Cary

Kate is an “OG” Firebrand, instructing since we began. Although this natural athlete can do it all (soccer, cross-country, skiing, volleyball, surfing, etc.), her absolute passion is instructing fitness classes. She loves the energy and accountability of the classes and working with people and learning about their lives and goals.
 
Kate loves the community at Firebrand, which she described as “like-minded, driven people who go after their dreams one class at a time.” When she’s not helping people shred it, she bartends and is nanny to a total cutie patootie!

  • Lagree Fitness is a high-intensity, low-impact game-changer that fuses the intensity of Crossfit with the precision of Pilates to deliver the most effective and complete workout in the shortest amount of time. Classes take place on the state-of-the-art Megaformer and require that participants wear gripped socks.

  • FireBarre is our signature results-driven, low-impact cardio barre class, uniquely designed to define, tone and elongate muscles while simultaneously elevating your heart rate to a fat burning level using high-intensity interval training. Unlike other barre workouts, FireBarre focuses on more than just shaping the muscles; it melts away the extra pounds so you can see the hard work you put into getting healthier and stronger! FireBarre’s simple, yet effective ballet-inspired conditioning exercises are performed to an energizing beat in a pumped up atmosphere. (Think: high-energy, fun, sweaty dance club!) Our Barre-tenders slowly speed up the tempo of each series to fire up the heart rate, leaving you breathless and shaping the underlying muscles to develop lean legs, delicately defined arms and a trim waist cinched from the inside out.

  • Urban Row
  • In our signature Urban Row class, we combine rowing intervals on water-based rowers with dynamic sculpting exercises for the perfect balance of cardio and strength training.
